Sometimes the best troubleshooting solution can be force-quitting an app. Here's how to force-quite iAnnotate when needed
Force quitting an app reset it and can be a great first step for troubleshoot an issue.
How to Force-Quit iAnnotate
Option 1:
- Swipe up from the bottom of the screen and pause in the center of the screen to reveal the thumbnail views of all your open apps
- From here, tap and drag upward (and off the screen) on the iAnnotate thumbnail preview to close and force-quit the app. You'll know the app has been force-quitted when you no longer see it wihtin the thumbnail preview gallery.
Option 2 (If you have a Home Button - 9th Gen iPads and below, iPhone SE + iPhone 8 and below):

Double-click the Home button revealing smaller preview icons of all open apps.

To close the App, swipe the App up and off the screen
