iAnnotate has two settings for Apple Pencils to allow marking up documents and scrolling through its pages. Learn how to adjust these settings to use your Apple Pencil exactly as you’d like.
In iAnnotate, the Apple Pencil is set to automatically activate the Pencil Tool (“Apple Pencil Always Inks”). Want your Apple Pencil to allow scrolling instead? Let’s change this default setting.
Follow the steps below to adjust your Apple Pencil’s default setting and allow scrolling.
Turn Off/ On "Apple Pencil Always Inks":
- From iAnnotate document view, tap the "+" in the top left corner
- Tap the gear icon in the top right corner
- Tap "app settings"
- Tap "annotation"
- Turn "apple pencil always inks" off (appears as grey and toggled to the left)
