How to Change the Resolution of a Document

iAnnotate supports HiDPI (high dots per inch) like Apple Retina®. Occasionally this rendering prevents certain complex documents from displaying accurately. You now have the option to adjust the resolution to improve the loading of these documents.

If you encounter a complex document loading with blank or checkerboard pages, you may need to use this setting. Sometimes, simply zooming in and out can resolve the issue, but if not, adjusting the resolution as shown below can speed up document rendering for an optimal viewing experience.

Follow these steps to adjust the resolution of your document:

  1. While viewing the document, tap on the orange tab labeled with the document's name to reveal a dropdown menu.
  2. Tap "Disable High Resolution" .

Note: This adjustment is specific to each document and does not apply to the entire app. This means you have the ability to choose which documents' resolution you want to adjust.

This setting is not permanent and you can always re- enable high resolution.

Follow these steps to adjust the resolution of your document:

  1. While viewing the document, tap on the orange tab labeled with the document's name to reveal a dropdown menu.
  2. Tap "Enable High Resolution" .
