If you find the app is asking for feedback too frequently then you may have a bug in your app.
We value your feedback, which is why we have the app set to ask for feedback automatically after a certain number of annotations.
That said, we're recently received reports from some users stating they are experiencing this prompt too often. Our engineers are looking into why this might be happening. Good news though, there seems to be an easy fix in the meantime.
We've found that off-loading and reinstalling resolves the issue. This deletes the app but preserves the data and puts a "fresh" copy of iAnnotate on your iPad/iPhone. We've found this often resolves issues that develop between iOS and iAnnotate.
When you offload the app rather than delete the app, all local files and customizations will be preserved unlike deleting and reinstalling the app where you would lose all local files and customizations like custom toolbars and stamps.
Follow these instructions to offload the app:
-
Open settings on the device
-
Tap general
-
Tap iPad (or iPhone) storage
-
Scroll to iAnnotate and tap on it
-
Tap "Offload App"
-
Restart the iPad
-
Tap on the app icon on the home screen to reinstall the app or follow below.
To reinstall the app from the App store:
1. Navigate to the app store.
2. Tap the user icon in the top right corner.
3. Tap on "Purchased".
4. Search or Scroll until you find the iAnnotate app.
5. Tap the cloud to the right of the iAnnotate app to reinstall.
